1379580 Transistor circuits FERRANTI Ltd 21 Sept 1972 [22 Sept 1971] 44264/71 Heading H3T An integrated circuit emitter follower comprises a first transistor T1 with its emitter load constituted by a second transistor T2, the latter being biased by a circuit comprising a resistor R and third transistor T3, the output being taken from the emitter of T1 via a capacitor C. In operation, the potential V is such that the transistors are conductive, and an impedance exists between the base of transistor T1 and earth having a magnitude equal to the product of the impedance between point B and line 10 and the current gain factor of T1.
