Abstract

1379446 Container labels; portable containers; container closures AUG HARRE & CO KG 10 March 1972 [12 March 1971] 11203/72 Headings B8F B8D B8T and B8C A container assembly which may be sent by post comprises a tubular container 1 with a screw cap 2 and an adhesive label 5 capable of carrying a postage stamp and other marks which is attached across the join 9 between the container 1 and the cap 2 and has a line 6 of perforations or other weakening overlying the join 9. The label is received in a recess in the end portion 10 of the cap 2; the container 1 may have a similar recess for the label. The stamp and other marks may be applied to the label by a franking machine. The cap 2 has an annular portion which holds a centrifuge tube 3 containing suspect bacteria to be sent by post. The tube 3 is tightly sealed by a screw closure 4.
