Abstract

1378835 Platinum group metal alloy tension bands C HAAS [trading as CARL HAAS] 11 Jan 1973 [11 Feb 1972] 1548/73 Heading C7A Tension band for mounting a rotatable component in a measuring instrument is made of an alloy consisting of at least 50% Pt and/or Pd the balance being at least one of the elements of Groups III to VI of the Periodic Table other than B, C, N, O and the transition elements. The alloy may be modified by the addition of 1-30% of at least one of Ag, Au and Cu.
