Abstract

1377384 Gloves T W BARLOW 17 Aug 1972 [3 Sept 1971] 41113/71 Heading A3V A glove comprises a textile fabric substrate 30 which is impregnated with a dispersed synthetic plastics material 31 e.g. polyvinyl chloride in sol form prior to application of a coating in the form of a layer of a natural or synthetic rubber or a plastics material 32. A method of manufacture of the gloves is described in which two layers of the impregnated textile fabric are superposed, welded together in the shape of a hand and cut out in this shape, the liner so formed being put on to a foam and immersed in the coating material to form the outer surface of the glove.
