Abstract

1376868 Vehicle controls STOCKAMOLLAN AB 29 May 1973 25338/73 Heading B7H [Also in Division B8] A fork lift truck includes a driver's seat 13 steering wheel 7 and other controls 6 which are mounted for pivotal movement in the horizontal direction about an axis XX 1 , thus allowing the driver to face the direction of travel. The seat and controls are disposed on a structure 15 which pivots on the axis 16 about the chassis 1 and is fixed by locking means, not shown. The chassis 1 is arch shaped to house an I.C. engine 4 for driving an hydraulic pump 5 supplying two or more hydraulic wheel motors, the engine being laterally displaceable by rails 21 into the position shown in Fig. 3 to facilitate access. An hydraulic fork lift 8 has an hydraulic cylinder and piston unit 9 connected to the pump 5, the fork lift being movable along a pair of masts 11.
