1376004 Transfers AVERY PRODUCTS CORP 11 Nov 1971 19989/74 Divided out of 1376003 Heading B6C A pressure sensitive label assembly for the marking of substrates with heat fusible indicia comprises (a) a release liner 10, (b) a heat fusible indicia 12 in direct adhesive contact with said release liner, (c) a supporting face material 16, (d) a volatilizable pressure sensitive adhesive layer 14 having a first adhesive surface in direct adhesive contact with said heat fusible indicia and said release liner, the adhesion of said first adhesive surface for the heat fusible indicia exceeding the adhesion of said heat fusible indicia for said release liner, and a second adhesive surface in adhesive contact with said face material, the release liner being peelably detachable from the remainder of the label. The label may be made by applying layer upon layer or prefabricating some layers into units before laminating the units to form the assembly.
