At a station II (Fig. 1), the moulding material is east from a transversely movable hopper 3, and is set in a heating channel III by heating elements within the mould walls 1. The moulds are dismantled at a station IV, the articles removed by crane, and the mould walls 1 returned for removal at stations V and VI and cleaning at station I.
