Abstract

137,218. Goss, S. A. May 8, 1919. Inclined rails and ways for load-handling. - During the lowering of a package down an inclined way, it rests against a framework a provided with projections b<1>, b<2>, which partly surround the rails of the way. These projections are at such a distance apart that both bear against the rail when the framework is not normal to the way. Movement of the package is stopped by inclining the framework as shown. If wheels are mounted on the framework, it can be removed from the way and used as a trolly.
