1371735 Struts for mine arches HAYDEN NILOS CONFLOW Ltd 25 May 1972 24664/72 Heading E1E A strut for a mine arch consists of a U- shaped member 1 holding at each end a nut 3 captive therein, the strut being secured to the web 8 of a mine arch 6A by a bolt 4A which is screw-threaded at each end to pass through an aperture 7 in the web for engagement with the nut of one strut and to co-axially receive a second strut in alignment therewith.
