Abstract

1371733 Liquid level indication GIRLING Ltd 27 Feb 1973 [30 March 1972] 15086/72 Heading G1H [Also in Division H1] In a liquid level indicating device, such as for use with a reservoir chamber of hydraulic braking systems in motor vehicles, floats 7 are of flattened form, so that their axial depth is small compared to their lateral dimensions, and are guided by vanes 20 provided on the reservoir walls. The floats 7 engage activating members 9 to move annular bridging contacts 11 into or out of engagement with contacts 12 in a warning circuit.
