1371215 Toothed gearing J H BREMS 5 Oct 1971 [15 Oct 1970] 46260/71 Heading F2Q A pinion 6 is held in engagement with a rack 7 by a plate 11, which carries rollers 12 engaging a guide strip 8 mounted parallel with the rack 7, and the pinion 6 driven from a uniformly rotating sprocket wheel 23 by a chain 22 engaging a sprocket wheel 5 secured to the pinion 6 with its centre located on the pitch circle of the pinion 6. A casing 3 maintains constant the distance between the centres of sprocket wheels 5, 23. A motor 24 drives the sprocket wheel 23 through V-belt gearing and a reduction gear 28. In a modification, a motor 33 and a reduction gear 32 are mounted directly on a pivoted arm 34, the pinion 6 being directly attached to an output shaft 35 of the gear 32.
