Springs, arrangement of.-Each wheel of a vehicle is mounted independently of the other wheels on the end of a trailing lever B mounted on a short shaft C mounted in bearings in a casting secured to the chassis, a cylinder H being formed integral with the casting to enclose a spring D acting on a piston K which bears on a lever I on the shaft, The lever I is keyed to the shaft C between its bearings, and its motion is limited by a stop E. A hollow stub axle A is formed on or secured to the lever B, and a spindie on the wheel hub revolves within it.
