Abstract

1369804 Magnetic sheet recorder RICOH KK 13 Oct 1971 [5 Nov 1970] 48754/73 Divided out of 1369802 Heading G5R A magnetic recorder of the type in which a magnetic record/playback head is pressed against a record sheet of magnetizable material and then driven in a spiral path over the sheet includes "reverse" 12, Fig. 13 and "fast" 11 control keys each of which, when depressed, causes a member 192 to slide upwards, as shown in Fig. 13, thereby to actuate a "mute" switch 207 which isolates the record/playback head and a "fast" switch which (providing a main drive switch, not shown, is also depressed) causes the drive motor to run at a fast speed, and the "reverse" control key, in addition causes a "reverse" switch 199 to be actuated so that the motor runs in the reverse direction. The arrangement described forms part of the complete recorder described in the parent Specification 1,369,802.
