Abstract
1366714 Regenerating a Co and/or Ni electro-plating bath M & T CHEMICALS Inc 1 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 59162/73 Divided out of 1366713 Heading C7B A degenerate electro-plating bath containing a Co and/or Ni compound is regenerated by adding an organic hydroxy-sulphonate compound as defined in claim 1 of Specification No. 1366713. The subject matter of the Specification is largely the same as that of Specification 1366713 but the claims are directed to the process of adding the organic hydroxy compound to a bath whereas the claims of Specification No. 1366713 are directed to (a) a process of electrodepositing Ni and/or Co from a solution containing, inter alia, the organic hydroxy compound and (b) the solution itself.
