Abstract

1366503 Wall panels O A BECKER 24 June 1971 [25 June 1970] 29647/71 Heading E1B A panel or block comprises a hollow rectangular parallelepipedic pressure resistant outer element 15 which completely encloses a similarly shaped inner element 10 and has anchoring elements 11, 12 screw threaded together connecting the opposite walls of the outer element and passing in fluid tight manner through the inner element. The outer element may be completely cast of portland cement or may be partly cast and closed on its other sides by foamed plastics or plasterboard panels, 21b, 27, Fig. 3; 64 Fig. 8. The inner element 23 or elements 63 Fig. 8 may be spaced from the outer element and the space may be filled with foamed plastics. The inner element may be evacuated or contain an excess pressure of air. The panels may be interconnected by pipes to valves and pumps for conditioning the air in the cavities. Panels may be used in the construction of refrigeration chambers in transportation vehicles. Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specification 1321985.
