Class 20(4) A partition wall comprises a number of standard sections and terminal sections to make up the correct length, each standard section having a central supporting structure framed by members 5, 6 and 7 and having a filling 4. A chip-board facing panel 10 one on each side is spaced from the central structure by insulating layers 9. The outer panels are sealed together as by a strip 11 or with a sealing composition. The edges of the panels are interengaged as at 8 and locking members may also be provided. Screw means may be provided to tighten the sections against the lateral wall or the ceiling.
