Abstract

1365552 Display signs BOND PRODUCTIONS (SILK SCREEN PRINTERS) Ltd 1 Sept 1972 [11 June 1971] 27537/71 Heading G5C A display sign comprises a rigid threedimensional framework 1 defining the edges of the sign and a removable bag 2 of flexible material enclosing the framework and having an opening allowing the bag to be removed. The framework 1 comprises two plastics-dipped steel wire flanges 3, 4 are joined by cross pieces 5, 6 and four hoop-shaped strips 7, the upper two strips carrying rods 8 with eyes 9. Three fluorescent lamps 13 are suspended on support wires 11, 12 between the upper and lower strips 7 and are supplied with power by a flexible lead 15. The bag 2 has translucent side panels. Its upper and side edge panels are divided and may be joined by a zip-fastener 24 with slide traveller 25. On each side panel are welded transparent plastics sheets (27, 28), Fig. 2 (not shown), with one side left open to act as pockets to receive translucent advertising material (31, 32) the mouth of the pockets being closed by fastener strips (33).
