1365477 Securing cores on shafts DRG PACKAGING Ltd 26 Aug 1971 [28 Aug 1970] 41580/70 Heading F2U A boss 12 has a peripheral rebate 16 with a tapering floor 20 and a movable member 18 (e.g. an 0-ring) arranged so that insertion of the boss into a tubular core 26 causes the member 18 to move along the floor 20 and radially outwards, gripping the core. There may be two or more rebates circumferentially or axially spaced and each with its member 20.
