Abstract
1365451 Microwave resonators SIEMENS AG 13 Sept 1972 [13 Sept 1971 24 July 1972 24 Aug 1972] 42457/72 Heading H1W A tunable resonator comprises a length of coaxial line 4, 5 short circuited at one end by a plate 6 and having between the conductors and near the plate a conductive member 1 which is rotatable to adjust the resonant frequency. The conductive member 1 can be a closed loop or a plate possibly with additional conductive elements mounted eccentrically adjacent the member. The member 1 is held in the plate 6 by a spring 3 or alternatively it can be similarly mounted in the outer conductor 5 of the line, Fig. 2 (not shown).
