Abstract
1365328 Contact members for switches OREGA - CIFTE COMPAGNIE EUROPEENNE D'ELECTRONIQUE ET DE MECANIQUE 22 Dec 1971 [23 Dec 1970] 59692/71 Heading H1N A switch contact member particularly for a reed contact unit is made by putting in suspension in a bonding agent, such as ethylglycol, two metal powders with solvents and then covering electric contacts with the suspension before staining the effective covered surfaces and then heat treating the contacts at a temperature ensuring softening of the metal powder which has the lower melting point. The latter metal may be silver, and the other metal may be tungsten. These two metal powders may be mixed in the proportion 60 to 90% of powder having a higher melting point and 40 to 10% of powder having the lower melting point.
