Abstract

1364042 Aerating apparatus TACHBROOK TROPICAL'S Ltd 24 Aug 1972 [1 Sept 1971] 40678/71 Heading B1C [Also in Division Fl] An airlift pump comprises a chamber formed from interconnected portions 10, 11 having respectively a water inlet 11 and a water outlet 13. The portions may telescope together or be connected as shown by a collar 12. Each portion has a tube 17, 18 through which passes an air inlet tube 16, the inlet tubes being connected to replaceable diffuser stones 15. A single air inlet tube may be used and passes into the chamber through either tube 17 or 18, which may be moulded with sealed outer ends.
