Abstract

1364002 Protecting guards; bumpers YMOSMETALLWERKE WOLF & BRECKER GmbH & CO 25 July 1972 [30 July 1971] 34629/71 Headings B7B and B7J [Also in Division B6] A protective trim strip for motor vehicles comprises a metal strip 4 and a rubber or like strip 1 secured thereto, the strip 1 being longer than the metal strip and folded about both ends of the strip 4. The folded end portion 2 has ribs 5 and 6 forming cavities; the ribs 5 and 6 arranged internally of the end-piece are shorter than webs 7. Projecting ribs 10 and 11 lie beneath the arm parts 12 and 23 of the strip 4 to protect the vehicle bodywork therefrom. A depression 15 in the strip 1 receives a nose pressed out of the strip 4.
