1362783 Cleaning apparatuses BURMAH OIL TRADING Ltd and J T ULLMAN 23 July 1971 [10 Aug 1970] 38485/70 Heading C7E Apparatus encrusted with concrete or similar debris is cleaned by subjecting the apparatus to a jet of dilute aqueous acid solution at a pressure of at least 400 p.s. i.g., the concentration of the acid being 0À1-5À0% w/w. The acid may be organic, e.g. formic, acetic or citric acid, or inorganic, e.g. hydrochloric, sulphuric, sulphamic or phosphoric acid, and may contain a wetting agent and corrosion inhibitor.
