1361935 Wearing apparel manufacture D BELZIDSKY 24 July 1972 [23 July 1971] 34443/72 Heading A3V [Also in Division A5] A process for the manufacture of a protective article for use between the stump of a patient with an amputated limb and a prosthesis comprises knitting a stump sock and wearing a protective sheath in a size larger than required to allow for shrinkage in processing, steam prefixing the shape of the sheath and the stump sock on the same form and subsequently degreasing and free-drying in hot air to swell the mesh, the same form being used as before.
