In Fig. 5 (not shown), the performance of a device on plate 1, Fig. 4, is compared with a recess-free plate. The plate, if ceramic, is a lead ceramic containing neodymium. The recesses may have planar, for example, sawtooth, or curved faces, or a waveshaped face.
