Abstract

1360595 Load handling pallet BAMBERGERS PALLETS & CASES Ltd 28 May 1971 [4 June 1970 8 Dec 1970] 40345/73 and 40346/73 Divided out of 1360594 Heading B8H A pallet is formed by a flexible plastics envelope upon which a load to be lifted may be stacked and into which a lifting element may be inserted by utilizing compressed air (Specification 1,360,594). The envelope is closed along three sides and has an inwardly turned hem 6, 7 around the open fourth side. The hem is held in position by a discontinuous seal 8 whereby to form a pocket around the open side which becomes inflated when the lifting element is inserted into the envelope to seal against the lifting member.
