Abstract

1360375 Flexible seats, seat upholstery FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 22 Feb 1973 8607/73 Headings A4J and A4M A motor vehicle seat comprises a tubular aluminium frame 11 and a flexible seating surface 10 connected to the tubular frame through a plurality of rubber rings 14, each engaged with one of a plurality of hooks 13 slidable within a longitudinally extending channel 19 formed in the frame. Each ring 14 may be engaged by a hook 21 attached to the flexible surface 10 or a perimeter wire 22 attached to the surface extends through the rubber rings 14.
