Abstract

Lantern slides.-A slide is made up of separable elements consisting of a picture printed on a film or sensitive translucent paper, a pair of loose glass, mica, or other transparent plates, and a substantially rigid frame or holder made of sheet metal and adapted to receive the film and plates during projection. The holder may comprise two similar apertured rectangular plates bent along and joined at three edges, or one plate suitably shaped and bent along a line forming one edge of the holder and having the edges adjacent to the bend bent towards one another and joined.
