1358320 Mounting rollers on shafts; ratchet clutches ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 29 Dec 1971 [28 Jan 1971] 60293/71 Headings F2U and F2C An end of a shaft 2 having a neck 8 (e.g. an eccentric cylinder) defined by shoulders 11 between an end portion 9 and a cylindrical portion, is inserted into a blind cylindrical recess 4 with an annular groove 7 in a roller 1, a member 4 (e.g. a cylinder) in the groove 7 jamming between the radially facing surfaces 12, 13 of the neck and groove at two positions to act as a double one-way clutch, to transmit rotation, axial location of the roller on the shaft being provided in one sense by the end 10 of the shaft abutting the blind end 5 of the recess 4, and in the other sense by the shoulder 11 co-acting with the member 3 in the groove 7, between the jamming positions, the end portion 9 may be relieved as at 91 to allow axial withdrawal of the shaft.
