Abstract

135,751. Prosser, W. April 8, 1919. Cattle-trucks.-Relates to railway cattle-trucks of the type in which a movable partition a, engaging notches c in the side walls and between slats d on the floor, is provided so as to divide the truck when animals of different kinds are to be carried. According to the invention, a movable partition is provided for each end of the truck, and the notches c and slots d extend at spaced intervals from each end to the centre doors e. Ropes for securing horses &c. may be tied to eyes f on side bars g, and a folding shelf h may be provided for the reception of small crates of poultry &c.
