1357428 Valves ALENCO INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS Ltd 3 Aug 1972 [3 Aug 1971] 36484/71 Heading F2V A valve for use with high temperature corrosive gases and liquids in gas chromatography comprises an axially movable, screwed spindle 15 with a tapered end part 15a formed with a flat for controlling the rate of flow from an inlet 11 to an outlet 12 through an annular, P.T.F.E. seat 16, the maximum flow rate being determined by the pre-setting of a secondary valve 22 at the outlet. The latter valve is in the form of a bolt.
