Abstract

1357172 Jet looms ENSHU Ltd 30 June 1971 42854/73 Addition to 1357171 Heading D1E To adjust the picking direction A of a jetloom nozzle the nozzle 1 is pivotable about the axis of a radial arm 2 in a bracket 3 which is displaceable on and pivotable about a shaft 7 of a loom frame member 6. The arm 2 of the nozle is mounted in a groove in the bracket 3 and has a flat portion engaged by a corresponding portion of a plate 23 having two holes through which pass two studs 24, 26 secured to the bracket. Differential rotation of two spherically-seated nuts 27, 28 on the studs 24, 26 pivots the arms 2 and nozzle 1. The bracket 3 is displaceable on the shaft 7 by rotating a screw-threaded rod 11 engaging at its ends the opposed sides 8, 9 of a recess 4 in the member 6 and between its ends the bracket 3 and pivoted on the shaft by adjustment of two further screw-threaded rods 14, 19 each threadedly engaging the bracket 3 and at one end the member 6. In a development two nozzles are mounted on respective brackets mounted on the shaft 7 (Figs. 5-7, not shown).
