Abstract

1356091 Piling and reclaiming material FIVES LILLE-CAIL 2 May 1972 [4 May 1971] 20443/72 Heading B8E [Also in Division E1] Apparatus for reclaiming material from a pile 12 comprises a tube 10 having external scoops 24 at the ends of shoots 26 which lead through holes to the interior of the tube which is provided with internal threads 28 which feed the collected material along the tube to a delivery conveyer 29. The tube is provided with hoops 22 which mount it on bogies 30, one of which is driven by a motor 34, which run on rails 32. A countei weight 36 may be provided. A rake 38 carried by a carriage 40 on which it is pivoted at 42 brings material down to the scoops 24. The inclination of the rake can be adjusted by a ram 44. The tube may slope down towards its discharge end. In another embodiment the reclaiming tube is mounted for rotation about a central mast in a circular bin and similarly to the arrangement of Specification 1,344,205. In this case a spreading device and feed conveyer are provided to fill the bin.
