Abstract

1355134 Fluid-pressure servosystems J C ECKARDT AG 11 Aug 1971 [13 Aug 1970] 37728/71 Addition to 1286123 Heading G3P A pneumatic controller has a differential pressure amplifier 1 providing an output y in line 10a in response to pressures established by a pair of pressure dividers constituted respectively by restrictors 2, 3 and 4, 5. A desired value w is applied at restrictor 4, and a negative feedback pressure derived from time delay unit T V and buffer amplifier 7 is applied at restrictor 5. An actual value x is applied at restrictor 2, and a positive feedback pressure derived from line 15 by time delay unit T N and buffer amplifier 6 is applied at restrictor 3. The amplifiers 6, 7 have internal feedback applied via respective pressure dividers 13, 14 and 18, 17. Each of the amplifiers has balls 23 controlling flow to and from the respective output passage. In a modified controller, buffer amplifier 7 and time delay unit T V are omitted and the time derivative of the actual value x is applied at restrictor 2. A twostage amplifier 1 is used in this case.
