1354464 Moulding compositions BP CHEMICALS Ltd 12 July 1971 [27 July 1970] 36297/70 Heading C3P Thermosetting moulding compositions comprise (a) a high vinyl polybutadiene (i.e. above 25% 1,2-bonded units), (b) a free radical initiator, e.g. dicumyl peroxide, and (c) as a shrink controller a saturated liquid polymer, e.g. polypropylene sebacate, polypropylene adipate or polyethylene glycol. Exemplified compositions also contain calcium carbonate, chopped glass fibres and in some cases either diethyl maleate or acrylamide as a polymerizable monomer.
