1354343 Herbicidal application of phosphonyl amines CHEMIEKOMBINAT BITTERFELD VEB 7 Sept 1971 41655/71 Heading A5E [Also in Division C1 A composition for the inhibition, prevention and removal of undesired plant growth contains, as active material, at least one phosphonic acid ester of the general formula: wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical, R 2 , R 4 and R 5 which may be the same or different, are alkyl or aryl radicals and R 3 is an n-alkyl, isoalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical, in admixture with a solid diluent or carrier or in admixture with a liquid diluent or carrier which contains a surface-active agent and/or an adhesion agent and/or a dispersion agent. The invention also includes methods comprising applying the active material alone or in composition form.
