Abstract
1352731 Roller blinds SWISH PRODUCTS Ltd 21 Jan 1972 [22 Jan 1971] 3003/71 Heading A4B A roller blind assembly, of the type in which the roller is biased to its wound-up condition by resilient tension means operative between the roller and a fixed anchorage, includes a mounting bracket comprising a base member 10 adapted for securing to a fixed support, a tension adjusting member 11 forming or operatively engaging the fixed anchorage and fully rotatable relative to the base member 10 when the roller is mounted in the assembly to effect adjustment of the pretension in the tension means, and a pin 12 detachably located in the base member 10 to engage the adjusting member 11 and prevent the relative rotation. As shown a spigot 20 with opposed flats is rotatable in a socket 14 of the base member 10 when the pin 12 is removed. The adjusting member 11 has a slot 22 which receives a flattened lug 31 of the anchor spindle 32 of the spring roller 33. The pin 12 is fitted in the base member 10 when pre-tensioning has been effected.
