1351639 Tractor cabs P E KETTLER 19 April 1971 [2 April 1970] 26029/71 Headings B7B and B7D A tractor cabin having separate lower and upper parts 2, 18 has damping means (not shown) such as rubber or plastics material interposed between the lower part 2 and the chassis 10. In a preferred embodiment, Fig. 2, the lower cabin part 2 has an upper flange which is interposed, together with the mudguard 15, bearing plate 21 and a further elastic intermediate plate (not shown) between the bearing foot 19 of the upper cabin part 18 and the chassis 10 and held by screws 20. In another embodiment, Fig. 3, damping elements 9 are interposed between the lower part 2, a carrier frame 7 rigidly connected with the upper cabin part 18, and the chassis 10. In an alternative arrangement, Fig. 4 (not shown) the carrier frame 7 is attached to a bearing plate separate from the upper cabin part 18. The lower part 2 may be a sheet metal box and may be provided with sound-proof material.
