Abstract

1349323 Overhead conveyers NORDSTROMS LINBANOR AB 8 Feb 1972 [23 Feb 1971] 5707/72 Heading B7L An overhead conveyer system comprises an endless drive member, such as a chain 16, and a rigid connecting rod 1 having at one end a coupling means such as a loop 6 for detachable connection to a floor truck or other loadcarrying device, and joined at its other end to an attachment 15 on the chain 16, so that the rod 1 can pivot to and from a horizontal stop position (as shown) towards which it is biased by a spring 17 about a horizontal first axis through a pin 14, and can also pivot about an inclined second axis through a bolt 10 perpendicular to the pin 14. The rod 1 is supported by a bracket 9 which carries the bolt 10, and the bolt 10 is rotatable in a member 13 which is in turn rotatable about the pin 14. Loop 6 is carried pivotably by a U- shaped member 5 depending from a ring-shaped member 4 which is pivotable about a horizontal pin 3 carried by the rod 1.
