1349319 Cleaning vehicle headlamp glasses SWF-SPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 20 Sept 1972 [25 Sept 1971] 43455/72 Heading A4F Push rods 11, 12 each carrying a wiper blade 27 Fig. 4 (not shown) are moved rectilinearly to and fro for cleaning two headlamp glasses by a driving motor which rotates a crank (not shown) to reciprocate a connecting rod 18 having a toothed portion 17 which drives via a pinion 19 a shaft 13 carrying a gear wheel 10 engaging teeth on the push rods 11, 12. Wiping pressure is applied to each wiper blade by a spring 28 Fig. 5 (not shown) acting upon a guide bush (26) through which passes the push rod 11 or 12.
