Abstract

1368345 Cleaning vehicle head-lamp lenses DUCELLIER ET CIE 24 May 1972 [3 June 1971] 24377/72 Heading A4F A vehicle head-lamp lens is cleaned by a wiper blade 13 carried by a harness 15, 16 and reciprocated rectilinearly across the lens surface, and engaging at the ends of its wiping strokes abutments 18 on the head-lamp which deform the blade, e.g. so that it conforms with the lens periphery. The blade 13 has a resilient metal core. The wiper blades of two head-lamps are reciprocated by a common motor driven mechanism. Washing liquid may be discharged on to each lens during the wiping operation.
