Abstract

1348303 Protective arrangements SAABSCANIA AB 19 April 1971 [2 April 1970] 25968/71 Heading H2K [Also in Division G4] In an arrangement for indicating faults, e.g. faulty lamps or fuses, in the D.C. system of a road vehicle, aircraft or boat, pairs of opposing primary windings 3A, 3B ... NA, NB are connected in series with pairs of loads 6A, 6B ... 8A, 8B, the pairs of primary windings being arranged on respective closed cores T1...TN having series-connected secondary windings provided by a line 9. When the fluxes of a pair of primary windings cease to cancel each other, a pulse is produced in the secondary winding to cause a pulse sensing device 10 to produce a longer or permanent signal which is applied to an alarm device 11 such as a signal lamp and/or a buzzer. The device 10 may be a transistor amplifier or a thyistor amplifier and may include a monostable multivibrator.
