Abstract

1348133 Container for plates AGFAGEVAERT 2 June 1971 [24 Aug 1970] 40671/70 Heading B8P A container 10 for rectangular plates 11 comprises a holder 12 having ribs 16 defining opposed pairs of vertical grooves for receiving individual plates 11, a lid 13 and cushion members 17 for protecting the plates 11 against shocks. The cushion members 17 extend longitudinally of the container and may comprise tubes of circular or oval cross-section, bars having U-shaped cross-section or two longitudinally extending tubes connected by a common web. The cushion members may be held in place by studs or recesses provided on the inner surface of the container or by adhesive. The cushion members may be formed of P.V.C., polypropylene or high pressure polyethylene.
