1345772 Roller conveyers DEMAG AG 19 April 1971 [24 March 1970] 21372/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] A roller for a conveyer has a cylindrical body 1 and at least one sheet metal end wall 2 shaped to provide a stub shaft and comprising a portion 2b, 2e tapering (e.g. conically, spherically, or pyramidally) to a cylindrical journal portion 2a axially outwardly of the portion 2b, 2e, each journal portion 2a mounting a bearing 6, which may be in a plastics cup 4 and located by a spacer ring 3. The body 1 and end wall 2 may be joined by welding at the centre of II, or soldering or riveting. One end wall may have a chain wheel welded thereto.
