Abstract

1436033 Conveyer rollers FEI Inc 21 Feb 1974 [21 Feb 1973] 7927/74 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] Roller conveyer rollers comprise bearings 20, 22 force fitted into the ends of a shell 24, each bearing having a blind socket 44, 46 which receives a spherical portion 40, 42 of a shaft 16, 18 adjustably mounted in conveyer side frames 10, 12. The bearings 20, 22 are of a self-lubricating plastics material and, with the shafts 16, 18, may be cleaned by hosing with pressurized cleaning solutions. Other parts of the conveyer may be of stainless steel or of plastics.
