Abstract

1345713 Credit cards; envelopes BELL PUNCH CO Ltd 10 Dec 1971 [11 Dec 1970] 58899/70 Heading B6A [Also in Division G4] A credit token includes a container 3 and a sheet 2, the sheet being of such dimensions as to be entirely received within a pocket of the container, the pocket having a tab 6 attached along an edge thereof, the tab having an area 7 of magnetizable material, e.g. bearing coded information relating to the identity of the user, the sheet having an area 8 of magnetizable material, e.g. bearing coded information relating to his credit worthiness. Both sheet and container may be of plastics material the container being formed from plastics sheet material turned back on itself and heat sealed at 4 to form the pocket. Information may be recorded on three magnetizable strips 8, 9, 10 on the sheet. The token may be used as a ticket in a transport system, strip 8 holding the credit information and strip 9 information regarding point of entry, the credit information being updated at the point of exit. The container pocket may have an aperture to permit printing of the credit worthiness of the user on the sheet 2.
