Abstract

1344748 Mowers VICTA Ltd 9 Aug 1972 37244/72 Heading A1F The mower has a plurality of cutters rotating about vertical axes and is supported by a front roller 3 and a pair of rear rollers 4. Adjacent cutters contra-rotate, each pair of cutters which rotate in the same sense being driven by a belt 9 passing round a pulley, e.g. 11 driven from the tractor power take off. The belt passes round idler pulley 12, driving pulley 8 and then to the double driving pulley 8b before being guided round an inclined idler 10 back to the pulley 8b and then returns to the pulley 11. Driving pulley 11a similarly drives pulleys 8a and 8c. The cutters are staggered with respect to the direction of travel of the mower.
