Abstract

1534296 Cutting sides of bacon in two DANEPAK Ltd 25 May 1976 [26 July 1975] 31364/75 Heading A4C Apparatus for cutting sides of bacon in two consists of a pair of spaced, parallel, endless, belt conveyers 5 with an intermediate disc cutter 10, the conveyers and cutter both being drivable by an electric motor 1 which together with a gear-box 2 is mounted on a frame 4 that can be detached from a frame 28 supporting the conveyers and cutter, the drive connection being broken by interengaging splined socket and shaft 3, 25. The conveyers and cutter are driven by belts 22, 14, the relative drive speeds of these belts being altered by substituting different meshing gear-wheels 18, 19.
