1344529 Rotary seals SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 19 April 1971 [28 Jan 1970] 20499/71 Heading F2B A seal for a rolling bearing comprises a seal disc 1 which bears slidingly in the axial direction on both radially-extending flanges 7 of a U- section ring 3. As shown, a seal disc 1 of plastics material is held by a retaining ring 6 in the outer race 5 and the free inner rim bears on both flanges 7 of the ring 3 which is carried by a shaft 2.
