Locating sounds.-In a sound-locating device which depends on phase-adjustment and comprises two telephonic circuits, a preferably adjustable resistance such as R is employed to reduce the sensibility of the hydrophones or like receivers R<1>, R<2>. Interference from local sounds is thus diminished. The Provisional Specification states that the quality of the sound is better reproduced, so that long-range metal diaphragms can be employed.
